Experience makes people...
Have you ever been to a study vacation? And wasn’t it a life changing experience?
When you go on a study trip, first of all, you have the opportunity to improve the language of the country you are visiting, but you can also learn a lot about their culture. It could be also a great opportunity to meet new people and make new friends.
Travelling has many benefits compared to learning in a classroom.
Travelling means making different experiences, just like stroll through the streets, visit museums and marvel at the works of art seeing it in real life. You also can get out of your comfort zone and try new foods you’ve never experienced or was too skeptic to try out. You have the opportunity to meet new people and make new friendships, you can do that too while being hosted by a family or staying in a university college.
These study trips usually lasts around 2 weeks so you have all the time to do every activity you want, but school doesn’t give that opportunity to their students very often and it’s such a shame, since it’s precluding it’s students the chance to use the languages they’re studying instead of just repeating the same notions over and over again. As students we wish to have more room to make these adventures.
